Researching Uberti Guns

I recently acquired a Uberti-made (for Navy Arms) revolver, a percussion made back in 1969. Went to the Uberti site, looking for the "Research Your Gun" link, but found it doesn't work. Called up Benelli/Stoeger/Uberti/Etc., and was told the Co. has discontinued this service (even though they charged for it), because Uberti had made guns for other companies.(Duh!) As a collector, that's part of the attraction to the older pieces., for me, anyway. Heck, they helped spawn a lot of what goes on now, even brought Colt back to the table (for a while, at least.) Anybody interested in co-founding the Uberti Collectors Association?
