No personal experience with them but it sounds like a solid upper.

Looks like a very good complete upper for a very good price to me.

Word of warning.

The "newness" of the rifle will wear off long before the wife's resentment will.

Your best bet is to keep the lady happy.

The poster above is wrong. Your lady will get over it if she's worth her salt and you are financially in a place where you can afford this hobby. If you can't afford it and shouldn't have bought it, that's something entirely different regardless of what your wife thinks.

Nope. I'm right.

Then again, if shooting it makes her happy, you're set!

A friend of mine bought one based on my recommendation. It has been excellent for him and 100% reliable. Good buy.

That's a fancy upper. I couldn't spend that kinda money on one lol. I bought a PSA 16" 1 in 7 twist carbine length for 300 and it stung a little, but I'm over it now lol. Grats on the buy.

CTUAgent - one thing to keep in mind is that the $300 PSA upper likely did not include a bolt/carrier group or charging handle, both of which were included in the OP's upper for the price (along with the free-float rail). Add those options to a PSA upper and the price rapidly goes up.
