Florida "Stand Your Ground" Task Force Update....
News sources in Florida are reporting that the final results of Gov Scott's special task force say NO major changes should be made.
If anything, the self defense & use of force standards will be more pro-gun owner/2A supporter. If you don't recall, Gov Scott(R) set up a task force after the huge George Zimmerman mess in central Florida in 02/2012. This is no real surprise to me. The gun/use of force laws are there for a good reason. Armed citizens or concealed license holders are NOT sworn LE officers or have special police powers but they are well within their rights to carry weapons and/or use lethal force to protect themselves.
