Dredge with seasoned flour (added spices to flour per your tastes)
Saute in butter till brown
Put in a baking dish and cover with onions (sliced thin) and sour cream (lots)
Bake in oven at 300 deg.F for 1.5 hours.

Yum!

You mean there are other ways to cook bunnies than deboning and frying in butter with a little salt an pepper? (Obviously my personal favorite)

Teach me your recipies and I promise to try some if I can get past the buttered fry pan!

Smoke them

This is very easy. Clean the rabbit but leave it whole. Soak it overnight in brine, black pepper, brown sugar, bay leaves and your other favorites.

I like using apple wood for smoking. Just prune some off and place in the heating pan in the smoker.

Make sure it is fully cooked or finish in the oven. Let cool to room temperature and pull meat off and cut into chunks. Eat with good cracked wheat crackers, cheese and strong German beer.

This makes a really unique holiday appetizer. Many non-game eaters will tear into this. I also do this with pheasants for special family times during the holidays.

I wish you all good times with family during the holidays.
