Lake City Bulk .224 55.gr FMJ-BT

I have never used this bullet, going 79.95 per 1000. Good deal? Or should I pass.
Thanks for any info.

Sounds like they are pulled bullets. If so they should be fine for anything short of long range tick pickin. They should be more than adaquate for plinking.

That is a good price. Wideners has the same bullet that is new (not pulled) for $82.00/1000.

They're just your standard plinking bullets. It all depends on what you call a good deal. I can get the pulled 55 gr. locally all year long for $75 / 1000. They differ in weights by as much as 2 grains, and all are just utility bullets.
