Wards Western Field 22 Bolt action Rifle
I have a Wards Western Field 22 bolt action rifle with a tubular magazine model 24M 495B. It needed a good cleaning, so I removed the bolt and now I can not seem to get the bolt back in the receiver. Does anyone know how to perform this action? Are there any places that have assembly/ disassembly instructions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Pete.

Not familiar with model, but will mention a couple things.
Make sure the bolt is cocked. Pull trigger during assembly. Some rifles may have a lever or button that needs to be depressed. Good luck. |

Your model cross references to a Mossberg model 45b made in 1942. The 24 in the model number is the year 42 stamped backwards.
Try asking your question here http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php and look in the mossberg section. If they can't help there no one can. |
