Both Glocks are probably worth 800.00 at best. Kimber usually draws premium dollar MOST of the time depending on condition. If it were not 2 .45 glocks I would say go for it. Maybe a 40 or a 9 would more peak my interest.

From my personal experience with Kimbers, I say TRADE IT for the Glocks and be happier. I have a 19 and a 36 and they are both good guns. My past history with Kimbers isn't too good and they are over priced for what you get.

Used Glocks sell for 399 for where I work. In next to perfect condition. I am sure you can find similar deals where you are. I would post the Kimber for sale on here... then buy what ever guns or Glocks you desire.
Like I said.. i wouldn't do it because I favor the 1911... if you favor Glocks then more power to you... but your still getting the bad end of the deal value wise. |

Well.. Here's the outcome. I went to the gun show today and got a great deal. I found what I'm guessing to be one the most hardcore Kimber 1911 fans out there. I was able to trade the Kimber for 3 brand new gen 3 glocks. A model 22, 23, and the 27. I was extremely happy and suprised with the deal. In the end we both made out the way we wanted, especially me...

I am not a huge Glock fan... but if you really got that trade... and your happy with them.... right on brother. Kimbers are nice... but I think even I would trade one for 3 Glocks.... difference is I would probably turn around and sell 2 of the 3 Glocks, and buy something else.

If that's how the trade went down, then you made out very nicely in terms of value.

Any trade where both parties come out satisfied is usually a good one....
