Tumbler media
I have a large vibratory tumbler, 18" bowl. I have been using it for years both wet and dry for machined parts. Anyway I have cleaned it out and going to use it for cases. I stopped at the china depot (harbor freight) and picked up walnut shells. This is listed for blasting and tumbler. Is this the stuff you guys are using? Do I need to add any kind of a burnishing or cleaning detergent?

I like to add 1/2 cap full of Nu Finish car polish to every batch. It halps keep the dust down a little, will make the cases shinier and will keep the cases from tarnishing. You would probably want to add 1 cap full the first time. Also add a used dryer sheet or paper towel cut into four pieces and it will help keep the media clean.
