New scope is on it's way...

Was advised by a member on another board that this deal on this scope is a steal...

http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm...209X40%20Matte

He recommended it for use on my .50 cal muzzle loader even more so than the Bushnell 3200 Elite that I currently have. Must be one helluva scope.

Looks like the Bushnell might be sitting in the safe for a while now untill I find a new use for it. Given the praise that the Nikon received and the ultra good price I couldn't pass it up. The fella that recommended it has probably forgotten more about Muzzle loading than I'll ever know so I took his word on things.

I don't really know too much about scopes myself and rely mostly on what others have to say about them. I know that the Bushnell Elite 3200 came highly recommended and I don't have any complaints about it so I'm excited to see what the new Nikon has to bring to the table.

Can you guys help me out a bit?

Given the scope listed above that will be arriving later this afternoon I need to know my options as to a good quality set of rings that I can use. I don't know enough about these to know what's worth having and what not but I do know enough to make sure not to skimp out in this area.

So can you guys possibly post up some links to the exact hardware/rings that you would recommend to mount this scope to my ML

FYI the ML is a Knight Disc Extreme 26" blued barrel. I believe it came drilled and tapped from Knight. Composite factory stock.

Thanks,
Roach

Millett, bases and angle-loc rings are also very good IMO. Have them on my in-line, as well as several bolt action hunting rifles. Warne rings/bases are also supposed to be good.

BTW, I've been looking at the Omega. Trying to decide between that and a Zeiss 1.5x5.
