Mossberg 500 trigger job?

Can the trigger pull on a 500 be modified for shooting slugs? Right now the gun has a heavy trigger pull.

Yes, a decent smith can fix that, one local to me charges less than $50 for most trigger jobs.

And kudoes for doing so, more folks should.

A caveat, most shooters shouldn't do their own triggers like most drivers shouldn't do their brakes....
