Botach customer service - Terrible!!

I ordered a set of Peltor ComTac IIs on 9/28 from Botach Tactical. Since then, I’ve sent emails trying to find out if they are going to sent them and if so, when.

No response.

I've called, but there's no answer and I get a recording saying the voicemail mailbox is full.

I just sent this email:

I ordered this item on 9/28 and haven't received it. "Order Status" on your website is blank.

I've sent two emails and gotten nothing back.

Nobody is answering your phone and your mailbox is full.

Are you still in business? Is anyone handling customer service?

What's going on?

I’d cancel the order, but I can’t get anybody to talk to me.

Does anyone know if they still have the doors open?

Japle, use the search feature, click on Advanced Search, enter the search string "BoTach" and choose the Retail Deals and Feedback forum. Join the crowd. I personally have never ordered from them, but there are many complaints.

Now we shall move this to that named forum.

Guess I should have done my homework on Botach before ordering.

I got an email saying the item was backordered and to, "include my name on the subject line Ackah Sarbah when you respond so that I can cater to your demands in a timely manner".

Timely manner? No communication for a month is catering to customer's demands in a timely manner?

I have to address my emails to one specific guy (?) to get any action?

I told Sarbah to cancel my order and re-ordered from Optics Planet. I've had very good treatment from them.

UPDATE:

I managed to cancel my order with Botach and actually got a confirming email.
I ordered the same item from Optics Planet and quickly got an email saying they were backordered. No problem. At least they let me know.

Then I got an email from Ackah Sarbah at Botach complaining that I was slandering his name all over the internet.
He should complain to whoever was handling (or not handling) my order before he got hold of it.
He should complain to whoever is supposed to update the "order status" section of Botach's website.
He should complain to his boss, who's responsible for customer service in the first place.

Botach Service

I'm sorry you have had poor service from botach.

I have placed several orders with them over the last couple years and all has gone well.

They do keep wierd hours; but they are posted.

I've used their live help very successfully.

I just placed an order for the KZ M73 forward grip assembly for a Carbine AR15.

Before I did so I checked with live help as well as with there phone system to make sure they had it in stock. I've learned to do this with any online service.

I had to leave a voice mail on their phone system; but I left my callback number as well as my email address.

And they called me back 3 times and emailed me twice the same day, assuring me it is in stock and ready to ship.

I've already recieved the tracking notification.

It states on their website that your card will not be charged until your item has shipped.

I'm a happy camper.

I'll let you know if it all goes to █████.

You know, they did seem to be making positive strides in the last year or so, and then they screwed up another order for me as well, which has not bee resolved by them. No more.
