'63 I.A.B. Sharps Sporting rifle
I just acquired a '63 I.A.B. Sharps Sporting Rifle thru a trade...it was onlu shot 5 times.....I am told it does not have the sliding gas sleeve in the barrel.
ARE THEY produced without the sleeve? At the breach it looks just like my '63 Pedersoli Buisness rifle which DOES have the sliding sleeve.... any I.A.B. Sharps afandicios HERE? |

I don't know much about them but from what I could find it does have a sleeve as did original Sharps.

Mine does. But, I've had it about 15 years. It was made in 1991.
