German Made 22 cal short

I have a friend, whose mother, has this German made 22 cal short. I do not no the make of this revolver. The owner is curious as to who produced it. I 'll be honest, I am stumped.Can anyone shed some light on this one for me?

Judging from the grip medallion, I'd say it's a Burgo. Possibly model 107S. Is there such a number stamped on the revolver?

It's right there on the grip - Burgo.
Which is the trademark of Karl Burgsmuller of Kreiensen, Germany. Before the Gun Control Act of 1968 cut off imports of small handguns, they were a competitor of Rohm Gerat, makers of the famous - or infamous - cheap RG pistols.

It probably cost about $14.95 in the early 1960s.

Cute little revolver but worth little. These are the most common type of revolvers you see in police buybacks as they are actually profitable to give back for the cash! Most definitely not something to use for any sort of serious purposes. Maybe OK if you got a problem with rogue mice in the neighborhood. I would not even go so far as to recommend it against rats!
