Handloading Rimfire Ammuntion? - Page 2

ive ordered a mould that throws a 37gr .225 boolit. i imagine this would be great for reloading .22lr.

With age there is supposed to come wisdom, I guess I'm lucky enough to be older and realize that one should not play with small bombs!

The only rimfire ammo I know of that is even remotely safe to feload for is .44 Henry Rimfire. I have one that was great grandfather's. The brass was custom made, and uses .22 rimfire blanks as the primer.
I have shot it. The cartridge has to be loaded one at a time, and turned so that the firing pin strikes the proper spot. I have only fired it once, and I still have a few of the loaded custom rounds, as well as the fired, and reloadable brass.
