Local robbery victim fights back, bad guy has a bad day
Not exactly sure if this is the right place to post, or if it's been posted before, but thought I'd share.
Essentially, local low-life got more than he was expecting when he attempted to rob a CHP holding citizen here in Hampton Roads. This was in a VCDL email: http://www.dailypress.com/news/crime...,7992127.story We've had several "criminal shot by citizen/victim" stories here recently, makes me happy to know that the people of my extended community are fighting back.

It was brought up as an "oh by the way" in a pre-existing thread; not sure if the mods will want to merge this, or let it stay as a standalone. I could see reasons for going either way.
