Hoppe's 9 Semiauto?

Has anyone had any experience with this stuff. I am a fan on the regular solvent and was curious to know if the semi auto stuff actually works better or differently than the original?

Can not say never used it, but did you ever look at the trucks delevering gas to the filling stations. Seems like they are all the same no matter what brand is on the sign out front.

Hoppe's Semiauto has a higher percentage of carbon solvent to take care of that issue with semiautos.

What is the price difference? If the semi-auto solvent costs more i'd stick with the regular. I dont see how they can make them much different.

They were both $7.99 at GM.

I went through a bottle years ago. I think it was naptha based, kind of like lighter fluid. It didn't leave behind any visible solvent like regular No. 9 does, because it evaporates off. It was great for getting the stuff squeaky clean before applying lube. I don't remember how it did on fouling, though, but it did a great job of stripping carbon.
