6.8 SPC loads

I've gotten re-interested in reloading for this round. So far, 115 SMK's and 28.0 gr of H322 are working pretty well. This 16" barrel did not like the 110 Hornady V-Max at all. Have any of you tried the 130's and up? Have any of you tried other powders? I'm thinking about trying 4064 and 130's although it would be totally experimental. BTW - I'm really amazed at how cool the barrel stays when shooting as compared to an identical rifle in 5.56. I guess the bigger bore lets it cool faster. Then again, it may be something else.

Thanks, I just did. It seems that some have landed on the same powder wt and bullet combination that I have ended up with.
