Where does one purchase a starter kit for a Pietts 1858?
Thanks Mike |

Try Cabela's. I'm a rookie at this and bought all my stuff separately. My friend bought the starter kit and was shooting a lot sooner than I. I think I ended up with better stuff, though. Personally, I think they're overpriced for the quality.
edit: Mike you can get one here a lot less expensively: http://rmcoxyoke.com Last edited by Idaho Spud; December 24, 2012 at 01:43 PM. |

They're not worth it. You can buy better stuff individually.

Check the prices and then check Ebay for kits and individually. I got a box of goodies that included short starter powder measure 36 and 44 balls, wads and Wonder lube as well as nozzles of 30,50, and 100gr for my powder horn, all for $20 and there was a tin of #11 caps in the bottom.
