"Tactical" flashlight reviews

I found this the other day, it might help out those of us who can not afford a Surefire. I just ordered a Romisen RC-F4 15 bucks and 170 lumens from www.dealextreme.com Hope this helps someone.

Let us know how long it takes to receive & what kind of service you get from Deal Extreme.

The DeLight does not try to compete with Surefire. It's probably not as tough or water resistant. But it's brighter, MUCH cheaper, focusable, and uses readily available AAA batteries. Battery life is fantastic. I won't sell a product I don't believe in.

This light uses only one AA battery. (easy to find)

Mode-1: 9 lumens (34hrs)
Mode-2: 47 lumens (6hrs)
Mode-3: 94 lumens (2.2hrs)
Mode-4: 120lumens (1.5hrs)
Mode-5: Strobe

17 days of survival use (2 continuous hours per day in Mode-1)

The LD-10

$58

And what I liked most: A "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" - UNCONDITIONAL LIFETIME WARRANTY!

I ordered thr Romisen RC-F4 on the 14th, for under 15 bucks with free shipping. I will do a review as soon as it comes in.

I look forward to the review. Some beamshots or comparisons would be nice if you can throw that in.

Here is a very comprehensive review to a bunch of budget lights (including the RC-F4).

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...d.php?t=202032

I have an RC-F4 and it is great. I wouldn't consider it for tactical purposes because you must fully click the switch to turn it on, but for a really bright light that you don't care if it gets messed up... its perfect.

It definitely isn't near the same quality as a Surefire (all you have to do is hold both in your hands to tell that), but it is probably one of the best values available.

I ordered a Romisen from them last month. Great light for like $11.30 shipped! Came in just over a week, couldn't be happier. I am wearing my Gerber today so I don't recall the model.
