What gives? Hornady and Lee give 6.1gr as a maximum load of 231 behind a 185gr JHP for .45acp. Winchester say 6.2gr is a STARTING load with a max of 6.8gr. I just loaded a hundred at 6.0, I hope they work. Do any of you use 231 with the JHP's? Thanks in advance.

I did the exact same load about 2 weeks ago, 6 grains of 231 under a 185 grain Hornady JHP will work just fine.
