Is this a real, made in Spain, CETME or one of the newer parts kit guns?
You might try asking over at www.hkweaponsystems.com . J.Cotter, of IGF, does good work on HK kit guns, so he may be able to work out bugs on a CETME, too.

Destructo66, I'm not sure if these are real Spanish Cetme. I've gotten some of my info from The Cetme Page.
I was thinking of purchasing one from one of a number of vendors, J&G Sales, Century, or AIM. I have read a number of reviews of the rifle, seems like there have been some feeding problems and other issues. I'm not a gunsmith, nor do I have any tools necessary to do any work myself. Besides, at the moment, I'm not confortable stripping down a rifle to work on it. I always seem to have an extra part or spring left over. I'm looking for someone who works on Cetme rifles that can strip down the rifle for inspection, check headspace, maybe work on/polish the trigger for a smooth pull, correct any feeding problems, if any, and maybe even re-park the rifle. All of these I have no experience doing. I'm still searching the Internet but thought I would ask here. Thanks. |

Save for pressing in the barrel,
since I've been trained as a HK armorer, I can walk you through assembling it. After Dec. 31, I'll be at Oleg's place: http://www.TheHighRoad.org
