low shooting 1911's
I own three .45 cal. 1911's. 1 new colt stainless government model, 1 older colt commander and a new kimber ultra II TLE. both the commander and the kimber shoot about 6" low while the government model is right on the money. could having lightweight frames have anything to do with it? anybody have the same issues?

I'm assuming they have fixed sights?
Have you shot them from a benchrest? |

yep, fixed sights, and no for the benchrest, standing only.

you're probably right. it's the anticipation because the lighter weight kicks more. next time at the range I'll try again. thanks for the input.
