I've got a revolver that's almost 100 years old. I own no spare parts for it, and as near as I or my local 'smith can tell, it's all original. It's been shot a fair bit, and it still shoots just fine.

The only spare parts I would keep for a Model 28, S&W Highway Patrolman, is bullets and lots of them.

I've replace a lot of S&W parts, but only after Bubba worked on them. I've replaced a few bolts from normal wear on 50-80 year old revolvers. Save your money and buy ammo.
