Winchester Supreme CT silvertip
Does anyone happen to know the "Overall Length" of the factory Winchester supreme CT silvertip part number SBST270 For 270 win

Winchester makes the Accubond CT and the Ballistic Silvertip. I'm not sure which one you are looking at? Neither has a crimp cannelure, so neither has a fixed COL you have to adhere to. Seat them to the depth that works best in your gun.
I assume you intend to hunt with these bullets, so you want to limit yourself to the .270 SAAMI maximum of 3.340" to assure they will fit in and feed from your magazine. Since you are concerned about the cost, you may not intend to shoot enough to find the best seating depth for a best accuracy load? In that situation I usually default to seating the bottom edge of the bullet bearing surface (see image below) one caliber into the case mouth. If that leaves the COL longer than SAAMI maximum, then seat deeper until it you meet SAAMI maximum, then check that it chambers in your rifle without interference. It should. Understand, whatever seating depth you wind up with you will still need to work loads up, watching for pressure signs.
