split case and accuracy?
I have yet to have a case split or fail. Those of you that have had necks split etc, did it effect the accuracy of the shot?

It generally will thrown the round out of the group distinctly.
Here is what you don't want to see: This is brand new Remington 357 maximum brass. I could tell how many rounds were going to split by looking at the groups and counting the flyers. Remington replaced the complete lot with new brass. Great company by the way. This is also hard on the gun. Lots of gases going places they should not....

Ummm, I'm not sure if I've ever had split necks spit bullets out of groups. I KNOW my AR-15 used to get splits once in a while (old barrel was generous in chamber), but I never noticed until policing brass. I've also never really noticed it shooting my .44 handgun and revolver either. Maybe I just can't shoot well enough?

My experience has only been in neck splits.
But, the results were same as others mentionedfor other splits...it threw them out of the group. |

Out of 300 Winchester .45 colt cases, I've had 5 that split at case mouth. All 5 split on first shot. I'm still reloading the others many times over with no probs.
Only 1 of the 5 split with a heavy load, the other 4 with mild-med loads. Yes, the cases that split, thru a wild bullet.
