Charles Daly

Hi Guys,
I bought a Charles Daly semi auto 12. It came with vent rib barrell, 3 chokes and a rifled slug barrel with cantalever for scope. The action will not stay open when unloaded and it will not cycle the rounds out if it is not shot.
It shoots and cycles fine when shooting.
Has anyone else had this problem? I hate to have to send it back for repairs.

I don't have one, but have you called factory service and described the issue? They should be able to tell you what is happening right off. It sounds like you are unable to open the action without discharging the weapon? That is unsafe. Double-check the instructions to make sure there isn't some special safety position or something that has to be pushed in for manual unloading and cycling?
