243 heavy bullet

I need some good loads for 243win with 87-105 grain bullets. I have some 95 grain berger classic hunter on the way. I have w760, imr4350, and h4831sc on hand.

Using 95 grain Berger VLD Hunting bullets I tried IMR7828SSC, IMR4831, and Reloader 22. All gave good results, MOA in my gun, but the RL22 did the best turning in half MOA groups.

Berger recommends a starting load of 41.0 grains using H4831SC, max of 45.3. For IMR4350 starting is 37.5 and max is 41.5. They don't list W760.

What`s the twist of the barrel , if not fast enuff it may not shoot 105 gr. very well??

Anyways I use IMR4895 & H414, you`ll hit a sweet spot before max loads .

Also there`s some inconsistencys of throat lengths , so don`t be afraid to experiment with AOL, alot of reloaders blame a good powder load for inaccuracy when in reality it`s FREEBOREs fault !
