Beretta 390 worth $550?

Good afternoon fellow enthusiasts. I am looking at a Beretta 390 12g. Black syn stock, looks pretty basic. It is a 390, not an A390 or AL390. Is this worth $550 in your opinions. I haven't been able to find a lot of information on the plain ole 390. Thanks!

Are you talking about the 390 at Walmart (just out of curiosity)?

This is from a private seller, however I suspect it was originally from Wal-Mart.

I don't think they cost much more than that new. But I made a post about a 390 from Wal Mart maybe a week ago. I'm sure you could find it on the first or second page. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm sure if its a beretta than its probably a great gun.

Is it made in the USA or Italy?

I bought several for $500-$550 NIB, paid $700 for a lightly used AL 390 20, just found another for $600, would I pay it, yes and twice on Sunday. Hands down the best 3" shotgun made!

If I'm not mistaken, I heard the Italian made 390's are the better quality ones. Not sure though. But I've also heard the USA made ones are also great!

Thanks for the info. Think I will pull the trigger on this one.

On the 390s, not an ounce of difference, helps determine age. The 3901 is just as good, barrel finish is not up to snuff, but a good hot waxing fixes the freckling issues, other than that just as good.

Will do, going to meet the person today to get the gun. Actually a bit excited about this one. I have been thinking about this the last 4 days. I have 15" of snow in my front yard this morning so will be a week before I can get out with it and shoot it. Will keep ya updated.

Picked up the gun. Here are a few pics. Won't be able to shoot it for at least a week. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
