I'm looking for a 9mm 147 JHP +P load.

Why? Having an accuracy problem that can't be solved by changing powders?
Looking to blow up a gun?
Try a lighter bullet if you want higher velocity.
Not a good idea!

The whole reason for the 147 grain 9mm load is to keep the bullet subsonic as it leaves the gun.

The speed of sound is approximately 1100fps. This changes with elevation, air density or barometric pressure (these are really all one in the same factor, but forgive me for being thorough!)

Subsonic rounds do not leave a signature 'crack' of the bullet making a sonic boom. For this reason, they work great in suppressed weapons.

147 grain bullets do not leave much room in the case for powder if one observes OAL limitations. You will run in to pressure problems real quickly if you try to increase power levels.

To sum this all up, a +P 147 grain loading for 9mm is NOT a good idea. Try going with a 125-130 grain bullet if you think you need more speed and a heavier than 'normal' 9mm bullet loading.

If you want to increase bullet velocity, you can do so without going +P by using IMR's "Hi-Skor" 800-X powder. Load data can be found at http://www.imrpowder.com/handgun/9mml_2_frame.html

Just how "fast" is a 147gr +p? That IMR load data showed 1032fps as it's max speed. If you want something faster, use Power Pistol or Blue Dot.

5.7grs PP=1095fps
6.2grs BD=1050fps

For what it's worth, Al Clark who is the the head instructor at Blackwater www.blackwaterlodge.com and former head of a SEAL team told me that he hates the 147gr as it is less reliable in every gun he'd ever seen. He suggested the 124gr Hydra-Shock as a better choice in reliability and performance.

My idea of gun control is watch the front sight and use both hands!
