browning 78 disassembly

would appreciate any info on the correct sequence of disassembly on this rifle to be able to switch barrel caliber as the ejector will not depress quite far enough to clear the barrel threads...trigger, hammer , breechblock. etc are all linked....tricky little gizmo.....thanks....respectfully...(email response list subject as browning 78 to clear spam block)
