grendel P30 firing pins
Newer member here with a question. I have a pair of Grendel P30 pistols and have heard that there is a problem with them breaking the firing pins sometimes. I have never had this problem with my first one after putting thousands out of it, but the second one I bought from a guy who had it happen to him. He was able to buy two new pins and had the one repaired and now I have a spare. Long story short should I get new hardened pins made and does anyone know a reputable smith who might do this work? Any help appreciated. Merry Christmas!

Grendel firing pins are not available, so I would say yes. You need to find someone who truly understands heat treating for these. I may want to try it, if you have lots of time.

P30 firing pins
Bill,
I have the new one you could use as a template around how much would you charge for this service? |

I honestly don't know how much, but it would be an interesting after-Christmas project. I can't imagine it being too expensive, though.
