Colt Peacemaker Replica?

What's a good colt peacemaker replica that won't break the bank and what is the best caliber? I like the 7 1/2" versions.

I really like the Pietta Great Western II that EMF sells........they are 99.99 percent Colt interchangable and the fit and finish is superb.

If it's your first one Go for 45 Colt (38 is for wimps) it's the easiest to reload, find ammo for, etc. and I like the 7&1/2 inch but some like the 4&3/4" saying it's faster outta the holster. Longer sight radius = better groups..........Or go 5&1/2 inch as a compromise, that's what the Army did and called them "Artillery" models!

Regards, HH

Check Gunbroker for the Cattleman "Hombre". They were selling for $250 in 45LC and 357Mag. There may be some left.

An accessory for cheaper shooting

One of the Nicest presents I ever purchased myself was a Cylinder for my SAA that uses 45 acp... 45 acp is available almost everywhere, and alot cheaper then 45 Colt..

You do not need to use loading moons, Infact I swear every time I use it its like magic.. Of course I am older and easily impressed with new fangled gadgets
