Mosin Nagant Scout Rifle

Just finished my interpretation of a Mosin Scout. The muzzle brake is awesome.

Cool, but why the muzzle break?

^ Less recoil, I think its a cool gun

I would never own one because there are a LOT of other things I would rather have but im sure it would be fun for plinking off medium sized targets

Now you did it ! Got me thinking about that block of aluminum in the shop that looks like a muzzle break with a little extra metal. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours.

Thats a neat Scout setup, but I am a little concerned about making the Chamber thinner, then drilling there and tapping there.
Anyway, very nice work.

I think its cool. You'll have to give us a range report. I like the 7.62x54 cartridge. I was pleased with the accuracy of the $99 M44 out of the box. I think that the cartridge has a great bit of potential. Good luck with the rest of your tinkering.
