Win 62A, Need Some Help
Posted elsewhere, trying to disassemble a Winchester 62A. Don't have a Manual, need one.
Stuck on removing the Foregrip as well as the Bolt. |

You have to remove the mag tube to remove the fore end. Can't help you with the bolt.

I took the pin out, but how do you get the tube out? Could it be rusted ?

It's been a long time but if my memory is right it just slips in. Might be threaded but I really don't think so.

HH is correct. It's just a slip fit. Maybe a little kroil or kerosene overnight will loosen it up. I can PM you an exploded view if that would help.

George; thanks, I have an exploded view from Steve's.
Am I correct, there is only one pin in the rear mag tube support? |

I am redeemed!
Two days soaking in Liquid Wrench, an oak "drift" with a small hammer, and some courage supplied by TFL, .... and the mag tube came out without damage, the Foregrip is off, and the bolt is out. Thanks. It is not threaded, just slips in. Still looking for a Takedown Manual if anyone has one. |

I do have a receiver cross section that shows the relationship of the parts if you'd like that.
