2012 NDAA passed and was signed quietly.

HR 1540 National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012

It seems that locking up citizens is back page news in our Great Republic.

When I first herd of this I figured it was some nutty group working up the people. Not so it is fact. The lack of coverage is scary too.

John McCain was the sponsor and Obama signed it.

It is like a Twilight Zone and we are all in it. Until they lock us up.

If this post is in the wrong area please close it down.
I thought the civil rights issue was well related.
I do not think this is biased political since both parties were joined to pass it.
Thank you for taking the time.

Easy, now. This could venture into pure politics far too easily, and we don't do that here. While there is a tangential relationship to gun rights, it's thin at best. If we can keep it related (and civil), by all means do so.

Otherwise, wedgies all 'round.

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The NDAA seems like a bad thing to me.
Q.
What is the definition of a terrorist ?
A.
What ever they want it to mean.
This bill has set the stage for the unthinkable.
