FNAR 16 inch barrel
I recently purchased a FNAR with a 16 inch barrel. These have always intrigued me, but I really have only thought about the 20 inch model. However, I came across a deal I couldn't turn down on the 16 inch.
It seems very handy. I haven't shot it as I am waiting on my scope to come in from Midway Any of y'all know how bad the 16 inch barrel will affect the ballistic performance of standard hunting ammo (usually Remington Core Lokts)? I will probably use this occasionally for hogs and I rarely, if ever take a shot longer than 300 yards. Will the .308 still have enough umph to kill cleanly at 200-300 yds out of the 16 inch barrel? Thanks in advance |

FNAR 16 inch barrel
It will have plenty of juice left at 300 yards from a 16" barrel.
