Why are Browning shotguns not used by LEOs or the Military?

Brownings are great shotguns, but never were inexpensive. The old bottom line again.

I've seen a few A-5s in combat, long ago. They seemed to work fine. Pachmayr and Bean used to sell full length mag extensions for a 10 shot, semi auto,00 saturation tool.

Any Tactical Browning Shotguns?

Last year a friend picked up a "Malaysian Insurgency"
Auto-5 with extended mag (and extended wood, a
neat-looking feature) with all matching serial numbers.
Beautiful gun, and relatively cheap at $700.

I used to own a riot style BPS with an 18-1/4" IC
bead barrel and a matte finish on the metal, low-gloss
wood. Very nice . . . too nice to bang around,
actually, so I sold it at a profit and got a beater.
