Video - S&W's New Model No. 3 SA Revolver

Shooting an antique Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 single Action. This is a classic which some say was the best single action revolver of the nineteenth century.

Your buddy Jay is pretty fortunate (as I suspect you've told him). That's a wonderful old firearm. Thanks to you both for sharing it with us!

Wow I did know there was that big a difference in the handling between the Model 3 and the Scofield.??? So as someone who has shot a scofield but never shot a model 3 what are the differences?????

And let me ask which handles better a SAA or Model 3

Mucho thanks for the video, Very Very nice

The New Model No 3 has a re-designed grip that I find easier to shoot quickly one handed than the Schofield.

I agree with Denis, the Colt SAA is a better handling gun than any S&W single action.
