Where to buy a "worm"?

Hi all,

I just purchased an original 1863 Enfield, plus a Euroarms replica. I've got 50 pounds of pure lead coming from Rotometals, and the Lee original Minie mold on the way, too.

Where can one buy the "worm" that you use to extract bullets if/when you get a squib load and you cant shoot it out?

Thanks,

Steve

OK, I found bullet pullers at Midway USA.

Where can I find a .58 caliber copper bore brush?

A worm is for pulling patches. You need a ball puller. There's one here about halfway down the page. http://fcsutler.com/fcfirearmaccessories.asp

An easier/safer way to remove a stuck ball is a CO2 ball discharger. Just remember that after you get the ball out, you may still have powder remaining in the bore that will need to be removed as well.

Also try Track of the Wolf or just do a Google search for muzzle loading supplies.

It doesn't have to fit the original ramrod - I'll use standard guncleaning kit stuff for that if it comes to it.
