Seized up bolt on a Rem. 1100

My brother has a Remington 1100 that took a crap on him. The bolt will not move and is locked forward. I got the barrel off and it still wouldn't move. Anybody have any thoughts on it? I'd take a picture, but it would just be the gun minus the barrel with the bolt closed.

1st. Pass

If you are comfortable doing so, drop the tigger group. All if takes is pushing our the two indent pins that hold the trigger group, in place. Then gently snake it out of the reciever. See if this frees it up. Oh yes, make sure it's unloaded and mind you muzzle.....

Be Safe !!!

Could be a broken link. Don't force anything. Should be a cheap fix. As recommended above, drop the trigger group and then you should be able to see what the issue is.

I dropped the trigger group out and tried to see what was wrong. It moved around a bit then and I got a better look at it. I'm not sure why it's so hard to move. I think he managed to bend the magazine tube and bind up the whole thing. I also saw a few concerning cracks. I think I'm just gonna tell him that it's a loss, it's a beater anyway. Thanks for the thoughts.
