Brass for a 6.5x54 Mannlicher Schoenaur
Can 6.5 Carcano brass be used to fire form brass for 6.5x54 Mannlicher Schoenaur brass?

For starters, the Carcano case is about 2mm shorter than the MS.
I suppose in a pinch you could, but it wouldn't be the best choice.

Norma makes brass for it. I seen it on sale on Graf & sons for about $56.00/100 rds. A tad pricey but no worse than a lot of magnums. 6.5x55 Swedish won't work?

6.5X54mm MS does not have the same "standard" head and rim size as the 30-06 class of cartridges. I believe Hornady makes 6.5X54mm MS ammo, and of course Norma offers it. Either way, it will be a lot less hassle than reforming brass, neck reaming, and trimming a bunch of cases.
