243 cal. 55 grain Nosler BT
I've got a 26 in heavy barrel 243 and have been using 75 Gr. V-max with pretty good results. Lately I've been considering trying the 55 grain Nosler out of this 243 to see how it does. According to the IMR stats it should roll out of the barrel at about 3900 FPS. I figure that ought to cut a groundhog clean in half.
Has anyone done 55 grain pills in a 243. Give me a holler.... Thanks, Backstrap |

I've shot quite a few out of a VS, with good results. I've clocked some of mine at over 4000fps.

H380 & AA4064; can't remember the charge. Just work up slowly and use a Chrony. What's accurate in my rifle won't be accurate in your rifle.
