m1 carbine help.

just acquired my first m1 carbine. its an iver Johnson with wing type safety. well everything works, but the trigger wont move at all with the safety in either position... i took the action out and the gun is cocked, so its not that. anty help and tips are as always much appreciated...

also can someone explain dissasemblyof the trigger group.

Here's a link to a site that has USGI Ordnance Field manuals.
The Carbine manuals show full disassembly of the carbine including the trigger group.
Since the Iver Johnson used the GI design, the instructions work for it too.
