2 new Sigs for me in the past few weeks

I already had a Scorpion 1911, a P238 and an 1911 Ultra but no DA/SA Sigs.

That changed in the last few weeks. Found the P220 Elite Scorpion LNIB for 690 at a LGS. Got the P229 Extreme from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore yesterday for 750 shipped. Can't praise that outfit enough. Very professional and prices are hard to beat.

I thought the G10 grips on the 229 would be too wide for my hand but they are perfect! The DA trigger is like butter and that's just me saying that after nothing but dry firing lol. Hope to hit range tonight

Congrats man, good choices. I love my P229 Extreme. Those G10 grips are great!

Cool! Maybe someday I'll own a Sig other than my 1911 scorpion. Although it may just end up being a Sig Dog like in your pics.

I need to shoot more Sigs so I can force myself into loving them. I've always liked the look and feel of them, but I don't care for their triggers.

Please let us know how the trip to the range goes!

1st 5 from the 229...21 feet...1 flyer but I'm happy with it. 600 trouble free rounds so far

Mellow_c, which trigger in particular, the traditional DA/SA, DAK, or both? Just me, but the DAK is awesome! Or at least it is to DAO nut like me lol...

I picked up a 229 Extreme about a month and a half ago, 700 rounds later it's still great, and hasn't missed a beat! There's a 938 Equinox at the store that has been whispering to me now...
