Favorite firearm book

What is your favorite firearm book or books?

I enjoy reading Bill Jordan's "No Second Place Winner" and keep reading it over and over. It was my pleasure to meet Mr Jordan many years ago when he lived near me.

There are others that wrote great books, one of which was Jeff Cooper. Anything by him was great.

How appropriate that you should mention Col. Cooper since my favorite is probably Principles of Personal Defense. I also like Surgical Speed Shooting by Andy Stanford.

It's a toss up between "Sixguns" and "Shooting to Live." The approach the subject rather differently. Honorable mention to "Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting."

"A gun is a tool, Marion, like a shovel, an ax, anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it."

'nuff said.

W. H. B. Smith's Small Arms of the World. It belongs in every gunowner's home.
