beretta-40 96G question

i got glow in the dark sights on my Beretta 96G and yes there is a G the rear sights are easy to replace but the front site is attached to the slide is there an easier way to replace the dot without sending it in to the manufacturer

You are stuck sending it to Beretta or to whoever makes the sights you choose. If not you'll have to have a dovetail cut and a replacement fitted. The good news is you can just send the slide and save the expensive handgun shipping.

I have Trijicon night sights on my 96 slide. Date on the rear sight says 1996 and they still work so you may want to check them out.
