Looking for load data
I got a good deal today on some bullets and now I can't find a load for them. They are a cast lead 141 grain. I have some titegroup powder and looking to load them for .38 and .357 Any suggestions?

Use data for a 158gr cast bullet.

Single Caliber Data
In the Single Caliber book for 38 special, there is a section on 140 gr. Speer. 140 gr. Sierra, and loads scattered throughout the various sections for 140 gr. bullets.

I ended up using 3 grains. I forgot to mention they were bevel base wad cutters. That is what was making it hard to find data on. They measured about 800 fps thru a 6 inch blackhawk and 675 thru my 1.75 inch smith.

There are as many 148 gr bevel-base wadcutter recipes as Carter's has liver pills - any of them would have been an adequate jumping-off point for working up a 141 gr BBWC load.

I seeted them pretty deep. Somewhere around 1.2 OAL. I have three manuals but nothing had that bullet weight in it with titegroup powder. Seemed like a good load at 3 grains.

AlaskaMike, that's a good point, sometimes we forget to mention "of the same bullet type" when using the data for the next heavier bullet. The saying "it goes without saying" should never apply in reloading, and I forgot to say it.
