Uberti 1866 problems...

I went to a shoot this past weekend, and the 1866 was acting up on me...

The carrier block was falling prematurely and there seemed nothing I could do about it. I'm going to see what's going on this afternoon, but what should I look for that's causing this?

Check the lifter spring and it's screw. The screw could have loosened up, or the spring itself could have cracked. HTH.
