T/C Renegade rear sight?

Hello all,
This is my first post and hope someone help me. I have T/C Renegade and just installed a Lyman peep sight with no problems. My problem is how o I take off the original rear sight off the octagon barrel? There are only two screws I can see, one for elevation and one for windage.

Thanks for any help

If it's like the others I have worked, all you have to do is remove the elevation screw all the way and your top blade will be pushed up by a spring. Carefull remove the spring and top blade. You may have to drive out a roll pin on the front pivot point. Then again, you may not. You should now see two screws that anchor the base blade, to the barrel. Remove them and there you have it. Let the project talk to you as it will tell you what it needs. Reassemble the sight so you don't loose any of the parts, like I have done in the past.
One note of caution is to be careful on reinstalling any screws as these are too darn easy to cross-thread.

Be Safe !!!
