Gerber - New Synonym for Fecal Gear?
I've been not pleased at all with last few Gerber products. Have they cheapened the once-respectable brand to ridiculously low levels, using inferior materials & quality control? Today I just threw away a Gerber camp saw that fell apart every time I used it.

I owned several gerber knives, and hated every one. I've got around a hundred knives, and for the price of a Gerber, you can buy many knives that are higher quailty.
I guess they are ok for people that dont sharpen their knives.. the factory edge on a gerber lasts a long while, but you'll never sharpen it back with anything short of a carbide wheel. |
